Volunteer at Re-use Hawai‘i
We are currently seeking volunteers to help out at our Redistribution Center, where material recovered from deconstruction projects along with donated material is offered for sale to the community as an affordable resource.
Volunteers at our Redistribution Center organize material in our warehouse, accept donations, prepare merchandise for sale, and with assist with general maintenance and upkeep to provide a safe and pleasant customer experience.
Volunteers may also process lumber salvaged from our deconstruction projects by removing nails and trimming damaged wood, or assist our workshop team as they create new items from reclaimed material.

Re-use Hawai‘i was founded in 2006 as a solution to Oahu's solid waste problem. More than one third of Oahu's waste comes from debris produce by demolition activity. We offer Deconstruction Services as an alternative to demolition. Our skilled teams take apart structures by hand and recover the material for reuse. The recovered material is made available at our Redistribution Center which offers these and other donated materials for sale to the community as an affordable resource
