It is an easy to moderate hike out to the site (takes about 15 minutes).
** We will provide all tools, but you are welcome to bring personal gloves**
How Many: We are looking for a maximum of 20 people for this special event. RSVP in advance to reserve your spot.

To reduce the risk of Covid, we recommend that everyone who visits here wears a mask in high traffic areas, when you are indoors and if you are not vaccinated, but as we are following state guidelines we do not require masks to be worn. We are also no longer requiring proof of vaccination to be shown for volunteers. We truly appreciate you being part of the effort to reduce the risks faced by our staff, visitors, volunteers and local community. As long as the Covid situation remains steady, we can continue with this current system, but some flexibility might be needed. If there are any cancellations or changes to the group size etc., I will send out an update to the volunteers. I appreciate your willingness to work with the uncertain nature of planning because we truly need the volunteers help here. We thrive with all of your help and aloha.

How This Helps Our Community
This project will help us in our efforts to restore native stream habitats and reduce potentially harmful runoff flowing out to the ocean. It will also, over time, start to set seeds that can help to replenish native estuary plants in surrounding areas.
