The Disaster Response Training instructor provides direct Disaster Cycle Services training on a relief operation. Trainings include classroom instruction, virtual instruction, or facilitating the presentation of video training within districts or geographical areas identified. Disaster Response Training Instructors will provide course rosters to the supervisor for administrative completion in our online training platform, EDGE
Key Responsibilities
- Teach and/or facilitate various topics/courses needed on a disaster relief operation.
- Supports the facilitation of orientation classes, on the job (OJT) and any other operational training needed
- Ability to utilize EDGE (we will train you!) for scheduling and set-up of classes
- Ability to organize information and reports for training
Time Commitment:
Flexible schedule available. Opportunities available during the day, evening or weekends. Must teach two classes per calendar year to remain as an instructor
