PARENTS, Inc. seeks an a well-connected leader who is passionate about strengthening families by providing resources, skills, support and advocacy to create cycles of positive parenting and can leverage his/her networks and resources in support of those efforts to positively impact the policy environment in which PARENTS, Inc. does its work. The ideal candidate should have a record of accomplishment of building strong connections to local communities and decision makers who are in a position to positively affect PARENTS, Inc.’s work to further our mission. The ideal board candidate should have prior nonprofit board member experience or have received formal board training.
