Volunteer must be a team player and work well with other volunteers. Volunteers will be responsible for opening and closing the snack shop, greet and assist customers, attend to sales including operating the cash register, restock products, prepare daily soups and coffee, wash/rinse/disinfect dishes, and keep the shop tidy.
Volunteers must have excellent communication and customer services skills, be detail oriented, and able to work independently. This position requires standing for long periods of time. Some lifting is required. Must abide by State of Hawaii Department of Health regulations as well as Kuakini Health System's policies. Prior sales and cash register experience preferred, but not required.
