Become a Waimea Valley
Visitor Center Greeter
Waimea Valley is looking for volunteers interested in being Visitor Center Greeters. This opportunity is great for an outgoing, helpful individual who is interested in meeting new people from all over the world. You are going to be the first smiling face that the visitors will see when they enter the Valley and will have the chance to enjoy sharing this beautiful and unique place with our guests. You'll help them get started on their Waimea Valley Adventure and have the opportunity to learn about this beautiful place as you work.
The greeters are a committed, vibrant group of individuals that support the guests' learning and exploration of Waimea Valley. We take the time to ensure that our greeters are trained and taught about the botanical gardens, the significant cultural sites and the history of this wonderful valley. They spend their days in our visitors center answering guest questions, sharing our many attractions and events, and directing the visitors to the ticket booth.
Volunteer Greeters shifts are available either mornings or afternoons most days a week. Greeters are asked to commit to one or more regularly scheduled shifts per week. To apply, contact the Volunteer Coordinator at: volunteers@waimeavalley.net.
