About

Aloha,

Project Hawai'i, Inc., is a nonprofit organization run 100% by volunteers and solely supported by public donations. Our agency provides a free summer educational camp for the homeless (unsheltered) children living in extreme poverty. Our camp is open to children from 3-7 and teens enrolled high school (as mentors). After this month long experience our keiki have developed social and life skills that will help them succeed in their future goals. Children have gained self-esteem and a new understanding of the wonders of our island.

NOW it is back to school time. These children NEED the proper supplies to start their first day off with their new found skills AND THE SUPPLIES!! Without this follow through, these children will revert back to their former self, being shame of not having, not knowing where their next meal will come from, and using school as tool to get fed, NOT TO LEARN...so, we need YOUR HELP to assure this whole summer was not invane.

We have ONE DAY scheduled to meet the needs of hundreds of children on our list.

YOU CAN MAKE THE DIFFERENCE

July 25th - Saturday 10:20 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

FIRST HAWAIIAN BANK in Pearl City on the corner of Kam Hwy and Waimano Home Road.

All volunteers will be doing the same task to work as a team for the objective...RAISE THE FUNDS NEEDED so these children WILL SUCCEED!

We are holding awareness signs and nets to collect donations from donors. This volunteer opportunity is important to the success of our mission. If you feel that you are NOT ABLE to complete this task, please do not sign up. Volunteers will be holding signs, walking up and down collecting donations for the entire shift. Volunteers will need to exercise their own common sense with interacting with the donors. Be able to pay attention to those who wish to donate. Volunteers will also need to be able to focus their attention towards the project. We encourage you to bring friends, but NOT just come to socialize.
