Mālama Learning Center (MLC) is a non-profit organization founded in 2004 to serve West Oʻahu communities by providing hands-on ‘āina-based education. Our mission is to inspire communities to care for Hawaiʻi by perpetuating conservation, culture, and sustainability through education. We collaborate with partners - schools, conservation organizations, community groups, businesses, volunteers, and others - in all our work.

⮚ December 13 - Laulima Community Workday at Pālehua from 9 am-12 pm
Ongoing Opportunities
⮚ We have many volunteer opportunities with native and edible tree planting initiative at Pālehua, Nānākuli muliwai, and Awāwalei (food forest). Volunteers are needed to remove invasive species, plant native and edible species, collect seeds, mulch, build fences and other things, tool maintenance, and community workdays.
