The mission of The Legal Clinic (TLC) is to ensure justice for low-income immigrants and migrants in Hawaiʻi through high-quality immigration legal services, education, and advocacy. Nearly one in five Hawaii residents are foreign born, yet few attorneys, statewide, will assist with pro bono immigration legal matters. Navigating complex federal immigration policies and applications is challenging. Your contribution helps us provide life-changing services for individuals and families in need.

Ongoing Opportunities

Ø  Professional graphic design work for fliers, invitations, etc., several times a year. We would love to partner with a design firm! 

Ø  Volunteer grant writers with prior experience

Ø  Handyperson services for occasional needs at our Honolulu office (hang curtains or artwork, small repairs, etc.); professional packing, moving or hauling services 

Ø  Spanish speaking volunteers willing to occasionally help with in person outreach at events (weekdays and weekends) on Oahu, Maui, and Hawaii Island

Ø  Spanish, Chuukese, Chinese, Tagalog, Ilocano, Russian, and other language speakers to be on call for client calls and appointments (no legal training needed)
