During this community work day, we will explain the purpose of our Ola Nā Kini restoration program and the role that communities can play in healing the ʻāina. We will provide education and instruction on the native plants that we are growing in our nursery for restoration as well as guidance as we work in our adjacent restoration site. Tasks may include removing invasive species, preparing new planting sites, adding mulch and watering existing plantings, and propagating new plants. We will have lots of space to socially distance and we will provide gloves, tools, drinking water, sanitation supplies, and guidance.
