Are you creative, friendly, and passionate about mental health?
We have some great opportunities for you to help support mental health in Hawaii and spread awareness about mental health resources.
Be a Social Media Ambassador (1-3 hours per month). You can write social media posts about mental health for the Center, as well as share mental health inspiration on your social media accounts. It doesn’t have to be related to our Center, but it should be positive and respectful and related to mental health. Then send the graphics and captions to us so we can post them.
Be a Samaritan Ambassador Committee Member (1-4 hours per month). You can be part of a committee that helps to make our 25th anniversary celebration a success! You can also promote mental health and the Center among businesses, membership organizations such as Rotary Clubs and Lions Clubs, and professional networks.
Help at the office (2-3 hours per week or as available). You could volunteer at the office one morning or afternoon a week to help with filing (weekly or every other week) and mailing projects (4 times per year). Note: This opportunity is on-site at our main office in Honolulu.
Mental health video (flexible). You could record a short (15 sec-1 min) video testimonial about the importance of mental health and counseling, and why you are passionate about it. With your permission, we could share your video on the Center's social media.
You can be featured in a "Volunteer Spotlight" on our social media accounts. Plus, if you are a student or need credit for volunteer service, we are happy to provide a letter verifying your volunteer service.
