The holiday season is a time to celebrate Christ’s birth while also holding loved ones close in our hearts. For many, this season carries both light and longing. At St. Francis, we recognize how love and compassion can ease sadness and bring peace.
This year, we warmly invite you to Light Up a Memory at our 46th annual event, a cherished tradition honoring the lives and legacies of loved ones who have passed. Together, we will gather in fellowship with inspiring music, heartfelt reflections, and the beauty of our tree lighting.
Light Up a Memory 46th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony St. Francis Kūpuna Village Courtyard, Liliha Campus Friday, December 5, 2025 | 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
As part of this tradition, snowflake ornaments inscribed with the names and photos (optional) of your loved ones will adorn our trees, each a shining reminder. Instructions for submitting names and photos are enclosed, with online options available as well.
We invite you to enjoy a complimentary bento at this special, in-person event. Please RSVP by Monday, November 17 to reserve your meal. Guests will receive a meal ticket at check-in.
Light Up a Memory is our only fundraising event for the year. Your generous, tax-deductible contributions help sustain St. Francis’ hospice and bereavement programs that extend our hearts throughout our community.
