Who We Are

The Hawaiʻi State Coalition Against Domestic Violence ("HSCADV" or "the Coalition") engages communities and organizations to end domestic violence through education, advocacy, and action for social justice. Founded in 1984, HSCADV is a private, not-for-profit organization and statewide partnership of domestic violence programs and shelters.

What We Do

  • Provide training and technical assistance to member programs, systems responders, and allied professionals
  • Collection and dissemination of domestic violence data and research
  • Provide the most up-to-date list of domestic violence programs, services, and resources across Hawaiʻi and by county
  • Public awareness and prevention through community presentations, collaborative awareness events, and social media campaigns
  • Policy and systems advocacy through partnerships, meaningful collaborations, and educating policy makers in addressing and preventing domestic violence and intersecting issues.
