Who We Are

The Pacific and Asian Affairs Council (PAAC) is an independent, nonpartisan, international educational non-profit and serves as the World Affairs Council for the State of Hawai'i. Since 1954, PAAC has provided international education to more than 89,500 high school students statewide. PAAC has brought substantive and critical issues of foreign affairs to Hawai'i through its programs - High School Global Education Program, International Visitor Leadership Program, and Speaker Forums. PAAC is preparing the next generation of leaders for an increasingly interconnected world.

What We Do

The Pacific and Asian Affairs Council's mission is to promote a greater awareness and understanding of foreign affairs issues with special attention to Hawaii's role in the Asia-Pacific region.
