Who We Are

Since its inception 27 years ago, Optimist Club of Honolulu (OCH) has been very active with the youth in the community. In the past and present, OCH has worked closely with other youth organizations such as the Kapiolani Hospital, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, HUGS and Easter Seals, Office of the Attorney General, as well as schools such as Kaimuki Middle School. Keeping in tune with the Optimist Creed, OCH reflects on building character, leadership, teamwork, and knowledge through community service. We are currently entering our 12th consecutive year in partnering with Kaimuki Middle School's youth to make up the Junior Optimist Club which also focuses on community service.
