Volunteer to Fight Housing Discrimination!

The Fair Housing Enforcement Program (FHEP) of the Legal Aid Society of Hawai‘i (LASH) is seeking volunteer testers/undercover investigators to assist in the detection of illegal housing discrimination. Testers pose as renters or home-buyers in a variety of situations and report their findings/experiences with the Test Coordinator. Hours are flexible and attention to detail and reliability are required.  Testers will be paid a per-test stipend, but this is NOT a part-time job.  Training will be provided. You must be at least 18, without prior felony convictions and without an open case with the Legal Aid Society of Hawai'i. Those with an active real estate license are not eligible.

If you are interested in becoming a fair housing tester or have any questions, please complete our pre-screening questionnaire at http://www.fairhousinghawaii.org/attend-tester-training.html, or contact the Tester Coordinator at (808) 527-8032.
