Aloha Christmas Elves... We need your kokua to put together our 21st Annual Holiday Christmas Party for our homeless keiki.
Project Hawai’i, Inc. is a volunteer staffed nonprofit that is solely supported by public donations. Our mission is to help homeless children and our party is one of the foundations that help us to do that.
Our Christmas party is complete with Santa coming to bring gifts, crafts for children to make and take, and games to play and win prizes. We also provide a huge holiday meal the family can enjoy together while celebrating the Christmas Cheer we bring to them all.
Our party is hosted in HILO and the address will be provided once you sign up. If you are not on big island, please visit our website for more opportunities on other islands. This is HILO ONLY
DATE: Dec. 21st/Thursday (most options are from 4:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. and the set up crew is from 12ish to 2ish and the clean up crew is 7:30-8:30ish

Christmas Party Volunteer Details
We have a wide array of options to sign up for. While this is family friendly we do limit the amount of volunteers... after all we have capacity restrictions and the party is for the homeless children.
Options still open:
- Craft Projects include a candy lei making (the children's favorite), beads for bracelets (children love to make friendship bracelets to bring to school for their friends (we do have some on hand)) and Santa Thank you cards which are actuality on of the most important aspects of the party. The cards allow the children to Thank Santa and hand it to him directly. In return Santa sends these cards to all of you and our donors!!. All craft hosts will need to provide all materials for 100 crafts. While we do anticipate 250 homeless children they won't have time to do everything, so 100 is a great estimate of need.
- Game hosts. You can make your own fun simple game, or we have them on hand. You will provide a fun prize. We do have some on hand, but need your kokua too.
- Photographers: We can accept 2 at the party. We are seeking an overall document of the party from children playing, interacting with the elves, eating their meals, etc. We use these photos to thank the donors, on our social media and websites. We are looking for one or two really good shots to be the Thank You Card "poster" child that represents the joy this party brings to these children. And would be great to get a few good shots of the meals. (photo cards will be turned in at the end of the party.)
- Set Up/Clean Up crew: This is how the behind the scenes turns this building into a fantasy land for our homeless children. Duties include setting up, decorating, etc. Clean up is just that... help us put things on the vehicles, make sure we have our things out ... typically an hour.
- Drivers: We need a few people with larger vehicles to transport items to the party. Typically in the morning or can even be the night before. Meet in Kea'au and transport to Hilo.
