Aloha,
Project Hawai’i, Inc. is a volunteer staffed nonprofit that provides year round care for the homeless unsheltered children. National Hunger and Homeless Awareness month is a time where the community can come together and address the needs of our children and help make a difference.
We are hosting an event (address to be given once you sign up and are approved) in Kea'au town to provide a fun afternoon and meals to our homeless keiki as they sign up for their Christmas Wishes. We have a few different options to make this day a success and would love to invite you to be the difference in their lives.
Throughout the month our different coordinators host events for approximately 60-75 children at time.
We need VOLUNTEER/DONORS to help feed our keiki. We are seeking 3-4 volunteers to make 20 lunches and 3-4 volunteers to make snacks. Each volunteer will be purchasing and assembling the items selected.
HOW DOES THIS WORK?
You choose which option works for you and deliver your items to the location at 11am.
- Sign up to provide 20 lunches. Each lunch requires a sandwich (PB&J is fine) otherwise NO MAYO!!, a snack item such as crackers, granola bar and a fruit or veggies cut in slices along with a juice box. Place all items in a to go bag for each child.
- Sign up to provide 20 snacks. Each snack requires a snack item such as granola bar, fruit cup, or other PREPACKAGED healthier style snack and a juice box. Place all items in a to go bag.
Please note the coordinator is out of the country until the 5th of Nov. She will reconnect asap when possible. All confirmations will be made by the 10th of November.
