Project Hawai’i, Inc. is looking for creative volunteers to host arts and crafts workshops for 6 homeless teen girls participating in our summer mentoring program in Keaʻau, Puna or Hilo areas.
Our mission is to help homeless youth break the cycle of poverty through mentorship, education, creative expression, and life-changing experiences. We are entirely volunteer-run and supported through public donations.
We are seeking organized, positive volunteers who can lead a creative project that encourages confidence, self-expression, and connection.
Volunteer Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead a complete arts or craft workshop
- Provide all supplies and materials needed
- Lead the activity independently (you may bring an assistant or friend)
- Host at your location or at our Keaʻau dormitory
- Morning and evening volunteer spots available
- Select your preferred workshop time through our online scheduling platform
- Experience working with teens or group settings preferred
Perfect for:
- Artists, crafters, art teachers, creative entrepreneurs, college students studying art education, or anyone passionate about creativity and mentorship.
We would love projects involving painting, DIY crafts, seasonal projects, creative recycling, resin art, clay, fabric arts, or other hands-on experiences.
