DAT (Disaster Action Team) team members-Must be able to be on call as a responder for up to a week at a time. In this role you'll act as 2nd responders that respond for things like home fires and flooding (small scale disasters). You'll receive a call from our Duty officer (disaster hotline volunteer), and respond accordingly. Not virtual, car required.
- Provide comfort and care, financial assistance, and housing as needed.
- Health Service and Mental Health Service workers provide appropriate screening and referrals or other assistance.
