DFS Mission: The mission of Dress for Success Honolulu at the YWCA of O’ahu is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. Dress for Success Honolulu serves clients by referral from partner organizations, government agencies and non-profits, that specialize in training programs or who serve women who are homeless, domestic violence survivors, or those who are re-entering the community from treatment or incarceration. We have been serving the women of Honolulu since 2002 and have provided more than 4,000 suitings since its inception.
