Pono Roots Counseling Center

Pono Roots is a counseling and therapist training center at A Family Tree, led by Kristine Altwies, licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. AFT has served families and children (as Hawai'i International Child) since 1975. With over 30 years of experience, Kristine developed Pono Roots in response to the many good, and many struggling people she's been honored to know in her work with families.

Pono Roots is a group counseling practice. Our therapists use family systems theory, as well as other evidence-based, supportive therapeutic interventions to help clients meet their goals. PRCC therapists work collaboratively and we love what we do. We understand the importance of your trust in us. We look forward to working with you.
